Hanford was pretty rough emotionally, namely because of the horrible
path it was career-wise. I'm kind of a one-trick pony and I couldn't
make it there; I felt pretty worthless, and I tried to compensate
emotionally in rather foolish ways. Actually, while I was there, I
*was* pretty worthless, economically; I only thrive in metro areas like
this. All's well now I guess, but it stinks to have to choose between a
successful career or family proximity.
